With this cylinder kit for all Morini LC engines with carburetor, you give the engine the necessary scope to deliver around 10 hp with the appropriate settings . The cast iron cylinder with the enlarged bore of 47.6 mm increases the combustion chamber to 70 cc. The specially developed cylinder head optimizes the flow of air and the ignition point. The high-quality piston from the Italian master craftsmen at Meteor was deliberately fitted with just one piston ring to keep friction as low as possible. This allows the engine to reach higher engine speeds more quickly.
The combination of these components ensures great performance in outstanding quality at a low price.
This set is suitable for the carburettor versions of the Suzuki Katana and Zillion, as well as the Aprilia SR 50.
We offer a separate set (1602792) for the injection versions (Di-Tech), as the existing cylinder head must continue to be used for these.

Note:
This set is not approved for road use as the displacement is changed.
Tip:
As the coolant has to be drained when changing the cylinder anyway, experienced mechanics recommend replacing it immediately , as it loses its quality after approx. two years and may flocculate, which can clog seals or fins.
However, make sure you use the correct coolant. As a rule of thumb, never mix silicate-containing coolant with silicate-free coolant.
However, it is often no longer possible to trace which agent was used and it is almost impossible to change the fluid completely because components have deposited in the pipes.
Therefore, play it safe with a universal agent of the latest generation that can be mixed with all agents, e.g. Agip Antifreeze 12++.
