Is your exhaust not completely tight?
If your exhaust system is drawing in the wrong air or exhaust gases are even being blown out into the open in an uncontrolled manner, this is usually due to damaged manifold gaskets. Here you will find a high-quality exhaust gasket at the usual good price-performance ratio.
A simple visual inspection is often enough to check whether an exhaust gasket is defective. Leaks can be quickly identified by the black coloration of the corresponding areas.
Another option is to feel for any exhaust gases blowing through with your hand about two centimeters in front of the gasket while the engine is running. Caution: hot!
Please note that the problem cannot be solved by tightening the flanges or exhaust clamps more tightly. In the worst case, you could permanently warp the parts. We therefore recommend replacing the manifold gasket straight away.
