The Vespa LX, LXV and S 50, 125, 150 are still totally popular years after your production ended in 2014. They're not dropping in value anymore either, they're just going up. Why is that? Because the vehicles still have smaller wheels and fit better for smaller people, the ergonomics between the seat and handlebars is better and therefore fit even 2 meter men better on the scooter, the CDIs in the two-stroke 50 cc versions turn out higher than in the successor models, therefore better top speed, the 125 and 150 cc versions are because of Euro 3 not yet so laced, as the Euro 4, or Euro 5. If you maintain the scooter and keep it happy, you are sitting on a gold mine.
That's why you may invest in the optics here. The mono slot tube, popularly called edge protector, for the left, is available for purchase here as a Piaggio original part.
