The Hercules works belonged to the Nuremberg motorcycle industry in the 1920s. The company founded by Carl Marschütz grew quickly and established itself in the market. Since the company was founded, third-party motors have been installed in the production of light motorcycles up to 200 ccm³. The main focus here was on the Fichtel & Sachs engines built in Schweinfurt.
Here you will find a large inspection set for your Sachs 504/1 or 505/1 engine. The set is suitable for various mopeds such as Hercules Prima 2 4, M1, M2, M3, M4 or CB. The set includes a new spark plug cap and a new spark plug to prevent misfiring. Furthermore, the ATF gear oil, which was specially developed for automatic engines, can be replaced or refilled. You will also receive a new oil control screw and a new clutch cover gasket. The next item on the inspection list is the fuel supply. With this set you can renew the two seals of the carburetor and thus avoid that false air is drawn. A new fuel filter and fuel hose is recommended to prevent dirty fuel from the fuel tank entering the carburetor. Finally, the engine can be cleaned from the outside with the help of the brake cleaner.
