Most vehicles are throttled at various points ex works. Keeway and Explorer 2-stroke models, for example, are throttled by a manifold that slows down the exhaust gases by means of an additional bend and a reduced intake section.
This makes de-throttling in this area child's play: simply replace the original with the unthrottled one and you're done!
