Hercules is probably a well-known name to every vintage two-wheeler owner. The company was founded in 1886 by Carl Marschütz and manufactured bicycles until 1928. It was not until 1928 that the production of light motorcycles under 200 cc became profitable again. From this time on, Hercules-Werke used third-party engines from Fichtel & Sachs.
The drivetrain transmits the torque from the engine to the rear wheel of your moped. This set includes all the parts needed to replace the complete drivetrain. The included 11 pinion is attached to the engine and connected to the sprocket via the chain (already cut to fit), which is attached to the rear wheel with four bolts and a lock plate. The supplied chain tensioners provide the appropriate tightening of the chain.
