Until the 1990s, the Hercules factories in Nuremberg manufactured mopeds, mopeds and mokicks. Hercules was one of the best-known and most established two-wheeler brands in the Nuremberg motorcycle industry. The company was founded in 1886 by Carl Marschütz under the company name "Velozipedfabrik Carl Marschütz & Co.".
The main task of the exhaust is to direct the exhaust gases from the cylinder via the rear silencer. Furthermore, the noise should be dampened and, in the case of two-stroke engines, the cylinder should be optimally filled by the recharging effect. This exhaust system is suitable for Hercules Prima and M two-wheelers. The left-hand manifold is attached to the cylinder using the 26 mm plug-in connection.
