The Carl Marschütz & Co. velocipede factory is probably better known today as Nuremberg Hercules Werke. The Marschütz brothers founded the company in 1886 and mainly produced bicycles until 1928. From this point onwards, the production of small motorcycles became profitable again due to the fact that they were exempt from driving licenses and taxes. The Hercules factories used engines from Fichtel & Sachs from 1930 onwards.
With this exhaust set, you can refit your Hercules MP 2 4, MF3, 221 or 222. The set includes a rear silencer and a matching manifold. One of the tasks of the exhaust system is to fill the cylinder optimally with the help of the recharging effect. It is also responsible for discharging the exhaust gases and damping the noise emissions.
